About
Welcome to Nashville Coop, a hidden gem located at 6600 Penn Ave S, Richfield, MN. Specializing in mouthwatering chicken dishes, Nashville Coop has quickly made a name for itself amongst local food enthusiasts. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, it promises a dining experience that is both delicious and memorable.
The standout here is undoubtedly the chicken. Customers rave about the variety of options, from crispy chicken strips to delicious sandwiches, all available in different heat levels to satisfy every palate. Henry Young Jr.'s first experience at Nashville Coop was nothing short of fabulous, proving that great food can evoke strong feelings!
One of the menu highlights is the number three meal, which features three delectable chicken tenders paired with crispy coleslaw, tangy pickles, and freshly toasted bread. Kristi Gerst reflects on her experience, stating the flavors were divine and the juicy chicken tender was cooked to perfection. With reasonable pricing and quick service, what more could you ask for?
For those who crave a little extra heat, the spice levels at Nashville Coop will not disappoint. Whether you consider yourself a spice aficionado or someone who prefers milder flavors, there’s something here for everyone. The level four heat, according to Kristi, is not for the faint of heart, yet it adds an exhilarating twist to the dining experience.
Compliment your chicken with a refreshing shake or perhaps indulge in the honey drizzled over warm waffles, as Bas Barath notes is a delightful combination. Though parking may be limited, the option for takeout ensures that you can enjoy the flavors of Nashville Coop at your convenience.

“ Following a Notarization call in Richfield, I pulled into Nashville Coop for a late lunch. I've driven by this restaurant for well over 2 years, for no reason at all. Finally tried it and loved it. Truly fabulous. ”
“ The chicken here is delicious. You can either do chicken strips or chicken strips in a sandwich. They have multiple heat levels to choose from. They do have some shakes and ice cream choices as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. There isn't a lot of parking but they do also offer takeout. ”
“ We have heard great things! It's right down the road from us. The new location, in Richfield. We ordered the number three which comes with three chicken tenders, coleslaw, pickles, toast and sauce. We added one extra chicken tender. 19 tip SUPER REASONABLE PRICING! The Minnesota Nice flavor was great for my husband. I ordered the level three and four spice and I will say the fourth level was super hot and I love my spice and hot sauce. Worth trying them all in my opinion! We did toast the "Toast" when we got home because it was not toast. I was also told this in advance from a friend. Overall I'd give this a 9 out of 10! Super flavorful, juicy fresh chicken tenders, delicious coleslaw 10 out of 10! And some of the BEST pickles I've had from a restaurant in a long long time!! Go check them out! Delicious, less than 10 minutes for take out and super friendly staff! ”
“ The hot chicken was spicy yet manageable. I think the chicken waffle is a better option than just getting the chicken tenders or the toast. The sauce was okay, but the honey on the side for the waffles was great. The restaurant was really empty when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. The service was counter served. Only a few parking spots are available nearby, so it could be problematic if more people show up. ”
“ Knock your socks off good!! The menu is focused and executed to perfection. Extremely memorable meal and service. Special shout out to Scott who was the kind of worker that makes first time visitors turn into regulars. ”
“ As a frequent patron of Hattie B's, Tumble22, and The Cookshack in central Texas, I gotta say, this is some expertly made chicken. The chicken was perfectly done and juicy, and the heat (Growlin') was just right. Next time I will try Cluckin Hot. In my opinion, they rely a little too heavily on pickles and pickle juice, but that is a purely subjective critique of what is otherwise a masterpiece. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the Twin Cities again. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and saved me a return trip for my jacket when I left it at the table. A must-visit food spot if you like chicken. ”
“ Awesome service, fresh, tasty and outstanding customer service. I’ve tried typical Nashville Hot style chicken around the twin cities but I love how the Coop actually seasons and does all their batter in house while you wait. Everyone is fresh made to order. Great parking, good location and my overall experience is 10 out of 10. I recommend Nashville Coop as you won’t be disappointed. Keep up the amazing work in the Coop! Be back soon! ”
“ Nashville Coop delivers bold, flavorful hot chicken in a modern, casual setting. It’s not fast food—it’s good food, fast. Crispy, juicy tenders and sandwiches come with spice levels for everyone, balanced by crunchy slaw and tangy Coop Sauce. Quick service, great taste, no frills—just seriously good chicken. ”
